Inquiry #11: This inquiry is regarding the Cisco and Juniper equipment at the hubs. The special provision does not have specifications for this equipment. It has a Cisco Quote and a Juniper Quote. The quantities shown on these quotes add up to 16 switches. However, The Plans (Pages ED-32 through ED-34) show 7 Distribution and 1 Hub switch at each of 3 hubs for a total of 26 switches. Cisco and Juniper will not release the bill of material to contractors. Is the contractor safe in using the budgets that are in the special provisions, or, will there be an addendum that adjusts the quantity to match the plans?
